Today, February 6th 2015, marks Bob Marley’s 70 birthday anniversary. The Jamaican reggae legend was born on 6 February 1945, and died in May 1981 after a battle with cancer.
His music is more present than ever. Some of his songs like “Buffalo Soldier”, “No Woman no Cry”, “Trench town rock” or “Could you be loved” repeatedly make into popular playlists of our days. Bob didn’t know the Internet, but if he did would be please about his success. For example, Bob Marley is the most followed deceased entertainer, with more than 70 million Facebook followers.
Or have you ever been to the Caribbean? His songs are a persistent staple of the live style in Jamaica, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico among many others.
