Business Accounting / Credit in East Rockaway, NY

Hi Keith, I am interested in connecting with you to discuss business accounting as it relates to credit / lending. A little background - I have worked in the financial services industry for the last 15+ years; but was always in "relationship management" type roles that did not require the understanding of accounting. At the end of last year, my dept closed and based on my strong performance in my prior roles (and my relationships with internal partners) I landed a job within the firm that relationship manages businesses with complex cash flow and lending needs. In my new role, I need to be able to interpret the strength / weakness of a company's cash flow and how much additional debt service they can take on as I will be approving and recommending lending products to businesses (typically LOCs, Loans, Equipment Finance and Owner Occupied Commercial Mortgages). I do not have an accounting background and all this is very new to me. With that said, I started reading up on this and now have a basic understanding.
