Algebra in Shingle Springs, CA

Hi, My names A., I am 25 and recently decided to go back to school to finish the A.A. I started back in 2006! I intend to take the math competency test required for graduation in lieu of taking the math course. My tutoring need is basically a refresher in intermediate algebra to prepare me for the test (in which I need a 60% or better). I have reviewed basic study material provided by los rios colleges, and there are a few areas I'm having trouble with. I am hoping to feel ready to make my testing appointment at the end of aug/early sept. In order to bring me up to speed I'm thinking I'll need two to three sessions to feel prepared. Here are the basic areas of knowledge I will be tested on: - linear and quadratic equations - factoring polynomials - rational expressions, equations, and functions - exponents and radicals - translations and reflections of graphs - function notation, inverses, and function operations - exponential and logarithmic functions and equations - graphs of circles and simple polynomial functions (including quadratic) - quadratic, rational, and absolute value inequalities - linear and nonlinear systems of equations - application problems using some of the above topics I had a few questions about your services. How much is your fee per hour? Also, I am located in shingle springs, do you travel to your clients, how far are you willing to travel and do you charge an additional fee? Do you feel that the service you provide would be a good fit for my situation and timeline? And lastly, what is you normal schedule and availability like for the next few weeks?
