"I have been in the teaching field since graduating from high school. My first teaching job was at the age of 19 at an all girls private school teaching Algebra I and Geometry to 9th and 10th graders. Little did I know that this would be the start of a profession years later.

I have always worked with kids or in the educational sector, whether tutoring or teaching or volunteering to help at a school or with an educational program.

Students find my methods of teaching easy to understand, and I selected math as my subject of choice, because it was something I saw many classmates struggle with and while I used to help those peers in school, I knew students today would have the same struggle. I like to break down topics and get to the root of understanding a concept or reteaching any misconceptions the correct way, so that students have a solid foundation of math topics they have struggled with or may still be struggling with.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, as well as a teaching certification for 4-8th Math and 7-12th Math. I worked at a private school for three years where I taught Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II, with exposure to IB curriculum (year 1 of MYP.)
