"Hello! My name is Marco and I've been tutoring for over 10 years with the past four years devoted to tutoring full time. I am joining Wyzant to expand my net and help as many students as possible. I primarily focus on the SAT/ACT and have helped students reach Harvard, University of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon, Duke, and more. I teach every subject so that each student can experience a cohesive strategy throughout the entire test. Teaching is my passion and I love helping my students achieve their goals. I know testing can be stressful for students so I try to bring my unique humor and love of life to make our sessions as fun as possible.
Personally, I achieved a 2320 on my SAT (perfect score for reading and math) with a 720 for the writing section. Due to my experience and training, I can consistently earn a 1550+ or a 35+ on any new tests that come in. I have a library of practice materials for students' use, though I primarily use the newest tests so that students can see the most up to date testing concepts. I have helped students go from a 1030 to a 1440, a 21 to a 30, and an F to and A. My approach is to help my students develop a strong sense independence and a self confidence that will allow them to excel in other areas of their life.
