"I have been tutoring for the last 15 years. I started off working for bigger corporate companies and about 8 years ago transitioned private. I tutor all subjects for K-8, do a lot of heavy ELA/English and math, high school history, math, and English. I tutor all subjects and test prep for High School as well. I love to teach and the mutual feeling of accomplishment when my students start to understand topics that were intimidating or find passions in surprising subject areas. I have tutored pods (groups) of up to 12 students, and of course in my individual tutoring I have a one-on-one approach that I tailor to what is working best for the client.

I currently am a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health at Bradley University. I think that helps me click with a variety of personalities and have success with all learning styles. :) I have experience in working with special needs and individuals suffering from mental health issues. I try to bring a compassionate, yet persistent approach where the client and I work as a team.

I have had a 7 year career in Investor Relations, and I am an independent consultant for alternative asset management firms. I graduated from Baruch with a degree in journalism and worked for Harper Collins and CBS NY News.
