Alas, most students are so scared of physics that they spend a better part of their time looking for ways to circumvent `physics thinking' and replace it with `equation hunting' and a bunch of other bad habits. That's unfortunate, because physics thinking is so much fun!
Physics phobia runs rampant because of two main reason. First is that the subject has a scary aura. Supposedly only geniuses can comprehend it. Of course, there is nothing further from the truth, but a series of unfortunate events in the history of science brought us this `gift'.
The second reason for physics phobia is that physics is strongly associated with another scary topic, mathematics. Math phobia strongly depends on the history of a person. It is usually the result of cultural stigma and spotty teaching. If you have it - you often also have an image of a scary teacher engraved in your mind.
I learned a lot of pedagogy tools to help me teach, and devised a unique method for teaching students. Now I need a bit of cash on the side due to a family situation, and that's lucky for you!
