"Hi, I'm Skye! I’ve always had a passion for learning and helping others succeed. At 12, on the ACT I scored a 36 in English and a 35 in Reading. I graduated as valedictorian at 13 and became a full-time university student. I’d love to share the advice, strategies, and techniques that helped me achieve these results with you!

With over 3 years of tutoring experience at Cal State LA, I’ve worked with a wide range of students from various academic backgrounds. I specialize in college-level writing, including research papers, essays, thesis projects, and dissertations, as well as resumes and cover letters. Whether it’s brainstorming topics, structuring papers, refining writing style, or perfecting citations in MLA/APA formats, I provide support every step of the way.

I’ve also worked with students through the Office of Students with Disabilities, providing personalized accommodations to ensure every student has the tools to succeed. I’ve learned the importance of adaptability—every student is unique, and I adjust my tutoring style to meet their needs.

I also love working with kids, and I've been a babysitter for 5+ years!

Now, with a B.A. and a full-time government job, I’m eager to continue tutoring because I truly enjoy it. I find joy in helping students overcome challenges, achieve their academic goals, and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
