"Hi, I’m Christine! I am a Texas-certified teacher with 10 years of experience, teaching 1st grade as well as 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades both in-person and virtually during the 2020 school year. I have tutored students from Kindergarten through 5th grade in all subject areas, both in-person and online. My passion is working with elementary students, helping them grow in confidence as lifelong learners in math, reading, and phonics.

Teaching in the school district I grew up in has brought me so much joy. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of seeing students I taught graduate from high school to pursue their passions, and I currently tutor a student who has become a National Elementary Honor Society member. The community I grew up in is one I’ve been fortunate to give back to, and I hope to continue doing so through tutoring.

I enjoy working directly with families to help children succeed. As an experienced teacher and tutor, I have worked with the same student from Kindergarten through 5th grade, witnessing the curriculum changes at each grade level. This allows me to assist with any subject area. I provide students with the resources they need to succeed in homework, study skills, and overall learning support.

In the classroom, I work with a diverse group of students, tailoring my approach to meet each student’s needs.
