I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from North Carolina State University, with minors in Math, English, and Cognitive Science. This interdisciplinary background provides me with a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their applications across various fields. Additionally, I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from Randolph College, where I focused on spatial reasoning development and the neural basis of learning. I am a certified Virginia teacher with endorsements in Math, Physics, Earth & Space Science, and Technology Education. I received the Certificate of Math Excellence from the Education Testing Service for outstanding content knowledge and was part of the National Council of Mathematics Teachers.

I’ll have a good idea of how you think and what you know within about 10 minutes. We’ll quickly set a big goal, break it into smaller goals, and get to work. The pace will challenge you but will NEVER leave you behind.

We’ll break down concepts into tiny chunks and build them up in your mind with proofs and practice. Every 25-30 minutes, we’ll just talk for 3-5 minutes while your focused brain rests, a research-based strategy. I won’t become your friend, but I am friendly and will connect with you and motivate you.
