"I am a retired elementary school teacher with experience in general education and special education. I have educated and tutored students kindergarten - fourth grade. My Master's Degree in special education has provided me with additional teaching strategies which are designed to engage the student and ensure academic success. For many years I have enjoyed teaching reading and math. I also have experience with curriculum writing in language arts. Last year, I completed the Texas Education Agency's Reading Academy.
