"I am a mom of three boys and a teacher of 22 years in the classroom and am currently teaching at a permanent online school. I am native to Oregon, obtaining both my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Oregon State University and my Masters of Education degree from George Fox University. I have taught from kindergarten to 6th grade including counseling and learning disabilities. Over the past 22 years I have tutored many of my past students as well as students from referrals. I enjoy a one on one setting as instruction can be geared toward the needs of one child rather than those of an entire classroom. I believe most children learn through a variety of teaching techniques so I tend to tutor using a variety of educational methods.
