"Hello future colleagues! I am excited to learn about your academic and career goals for your area of interest. I believe that building the tools to learn any material is the most important part of tutoring. My goal is to work with you the least number of hours possible for you to exceed your goal and become self-sufficient. As such I believe that the most important work is done outside of the classroom, whether with myself, school, or beyond.
I was a slightly above average middle school student who set out in high school to become the top of my class. As a result, I graduated 3rd in my class of 440 students, and got accepted to the University of Pennsylvania where I was a part of the selective, competitive Vagelos Molecular Life Sciences program in which I got a bachelor's and master's degrees in 4 years. I am now a 3rd year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I have had tremendous support and mentors throughout my career and I hope to provide some of this help for you as well.
I have very high expectations and will be honest with you on areas of improvement. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
I took up to Calculus BC in high school being consistently 2 years ahead of grade level starting in 8th grade. I took up to Calculus IV (Partial differential equations) in college.
Wishing you the best of luck in your journey! Remember that everything in education is based on 1) your understanding of the material and basic principles and 2) the number of hours and practice you put it. Always believe in your abilities and do not ever let that confidence wane!" less...
