"I have experience teaching a wide range of students and subjects. Having attended an arts school-- majoring in piano but also being an avid painter-- while being focused on STEM subjects for a college major, I am both artistic and analytical. I bring these complimentary skills to my teaching methods, while taking an individualized approach to teaching each student.
Growing up with three siblings, I was always helping with teaching math and music. In high school, I tutored students in 4th-8th grade, and some high school peers in Math, Spanish, and standardized tests (ACT and SAT). I have taught in-person, but am comfortable on virtual platforms.
I took the ACT twice, scoring a 35 and then a perfect score (36). Other credentials include a 5.12 weighted GPA, a 5 on AP Calculus BC, a 5 on AP English Language and a 5 on AP Spanish Language. I am also a National Merit Scholar who will attend Columbia University SEAS (Engineering) in the Fall. But more importantly, I love to teach and I am devoted and incredibly excited to help you or your child succeed and learn. I am also welcome to any suggestions from students or parents. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson!" less...
