"I’m a fourth-year medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School with a strong passion for mentorship and academic advising. Over the years, I’ve worked with many students applying to medical school, graduate programs, and undergraduate institutions. I help students refine their personal statements, primary and secondary essays, and prepare for interviews through mock sessions. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see so many of them go on to achieve the grades, test scores, and acceptances they were striving for.
I graduated summa cum laude from Drexel University with a 3.99 GPA in just three years and spent my gap year earning an MBA before beginning medical school. My academic journey has taught me the value of effective study strategies, time management, and meaningful mentorship—all of which I strive to pass on to the students I work with.
Throughout my academic career, I’ve tutored students in science courses including AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Psychology. In undergrad, I served as a tutor through both the biology and psychology departments, mentoring students in foundational science courses. I also worked as a teaching assistant for Univ101, a course created to help first-year biology majors transition to college. In collaboration with faculty, I developed weekly lesson plans and assignments to help students build critical academic skills early on.
I strive to be highly responsive, thoughtful, and supportive in all my mentorship and tutoring work. I encourage students to reach out—whether you’re just beginning to think about your academic journey or actively preparing applications, I’d love to work with you to help you reach your goals." less...
