"My name is Kelly. From SAT tutoring to editing personal statements for college applications, I've been involved with education and supporting students since I was in high school! I graduated from Amherst College as a neuroscience major on the pre-medical track, where I continued to tutor and be involved in an organization called Reader to Reader Inc. Throughout the school year, I was a reading mentor and helped middle school students and high school students understand classic texts like Shakespeare and Huckleberry Finn. As a summer intern, I helped develop and teach a curriculum for a classroom full of motivated high school students to study for the SATs and apply to college. Now, I'm in medical school in my fourth year with a lot of time while I'm applying for residency! During my time in medical school, I was always tutoring the year below me one-on-one in school content, study tips, and time management.
