"I am a fourth year Ph.D. Student in applied and computational mathematics at RIT who has been a tutor for over 5 years. My professional tutoring journey started in 2018 when I was finishing my pure mathematics B.S. in NYC. At the time, I was hired by CUNY tutor corps and helped high school students ace their math quizzes and tests.

My tutoring style revolve around making sure that the students understand the concepts and can later apply them by themselves and that the sessions don’t just become a period during which I am doing all the work for them. With my experience, I also understand and worked with students that learn more by doing rather than watching me show them and vice versa. I tailor my style of teaching depending on my clients’ needs.

In school, I teach over 100+ student every semester since 2020 (currently I am teaching differential equations this fall of 2023). On online platforms, I have tutored over 300 students in AP calculus, precalculus and algebra since 2018 and a popular website where you could see my tutoring credentials is on a platform called varsity tutors where I have over 320+ reviews ( all 5stars) and has been working for since 2021. Also at college level I have won the prestigious university-wide award of best graduate teaching instructor this year (2023) and previously won the school of mathematical science outstanding teaching award (2021).
