"My name is Yiding, and I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Genetics at the University of Chicago, where my research focuses on epigenetics and epitranscriptomics. I have three years of teaching assistant (TA) experience in undergraduate Biology and Genetics courses as part of my Ph.D. program. During my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I also worked as a part-time TA at New Oriental Study Abroad Agency during summer breaks, focusing primarily on TOEFL and SAT preparation specifically in SAT1 Math, SAT2 Math and SAT2, with students consistently providing positive feedback on my assistance with oral and written English practice for TOEFL prep and overall improvement on their SAT grades.

Through these experiences, I have developed strong teaching and tutoring skills, including one-on-one mentorship, small-group instruction, and lecturing for large classes of over 170 students.
