"I have over two years' experience in the classroom as a Florida certified teacher in subjects including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and AP Calculus as well as over ten years tutoring various topics. I have experience with and am comfortable working with all ages from elementary school to adult learners. I am passionate about math and making it understandable and enjoyable (or at least less painful)!

My favorite part of being a classroom teacher was working with students one-on-one until they really understood the concept and helping them out of their frustration to see that they could be successful. For this reason, I offered extra help every day before school. Even a short amount of time with a quality tutor can make a big difference, so I encourage all students not to be afraid to ask for help but to ask as many questions as possible! I also ask lots of questions of my students to gain insight into their thinking processes and ensure their progress.
