"Hi! My name is Aisha! I graduated with a dual degree in English Literature, and Sociology with a certificate in Public and Professional Writing. Learning was always something I enjoyed, particularly in the classes that were most engaging by incorporating dynamic conversation. As a result, I always encourage questions and conversation with my students to not only learn the subject but build confidence in their developing skills. I offer customized lesson plans based on their particular needs. Plus I infuse fun and constructive exercises to reinforce the lessons and help students build on what they learn.

With over 5 years experience both in the states and abroad I have a varied and substantial background. I have conducted one-on-one ESOL lessons for students from as young as middle school aged up until adulthood. I offered lessons to adult professionals seeking to improve their English for work. My experience also includes working for a nonprofit in a public school where I administered specialized classes for a small focus group of 7 students. I offered additional support for students who were struggling to keep up with their peers. I have also worked with college students for test preps or essay proof-reading.
