"I began studying advanced mathematics around 7 years ago at the University of Minnesota. There, I learned the foundational subjects for an undergraduate mathematics curriculum before eventually diving into more advanced graduate topics in Chaos Theory, Derivatives Modeling, and more. My time at the University of Minnesota allowed me to do extensive mathematics modeling research which has provided real-world experience into complex applications of the subject. I was also concurrently enrolled in Stanford's Continuing Studies Program where I took pure mathematics courses in Real Analysis and Transitional Mathematics.

Simultaneously, I was also growing my business acumen. I participated in several international business conferences where I competed primarily in management events. This involved case study analysis/presentation, report development, business analysis, and pitching ideas. The preparation was exhaustive, consisting of the development and organization of various community initiatives that impacted tens of thousands of people in the span of just 1-2 years. The hard work eventually paid off, with a second place finish in a business administration event at an international conference in 2022 and a seventh place finish in project management in a separate conference in 2024.

Currently, I am combining my mathematics and business skills in two key ways. First, I am a data analytics team manager at a fast-growing AI company. Here, I am managing a nonprofit CRM and developing company-wide automation strategies and implementations. Second, I am working to become a certified actuary (risk management professional). I've passed the first two preliminary actuarial exams in Probability and Financial Mathematics and am slated to take the Statistics for Risk Modeling Exam in the next month. At this rate, I expect to be the youngest fully certified actuary in the history of the actuarial department at the University of Michigan, one of the nation's premier and longest-standing actuarial departments." less...
