"Hi! I'm Mitra. I am a graduate of UCLA, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am a registered nurse (RN), with strong clinical background (I am BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified, and was an EMT before starting college). I decided to make a career switch and left bedside nursing to pursue medicine. I have been admitted to and will start at a top-10 medical school in the Fall of 2024.

Because of my non-traditional background, much of my studying for the MCAT and my pre-medical classes was self-directed. I also developed strong test-taking strategies that allowed me to excel in these areas. I would be delighted to transfer the knowledge I picked up along this journey to help you with your own pre-medical aspirations! I am also happy to do application reviews and editing for primary and secondary applications.

I have multiple years of experience as a one-on-one tutor in multiple subjects. I have also taught elementary to high school students. I believe strongly in collaborative, student-led learning.
