"My name is David, and I am excited about the opportunity to work with you. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Boston College, achieving a near-perfect GPA of 3.992. Throughout my undergraduate journey, I earned several awards for both my academic performance and undergraduate research, culminating in an honors thesis. I am currently applying to medical school, having scored in the 100th percentile on the MCAT with a 525, which reflects my mastery of the subject matter and ability to effectively break down complex concepts.
My passion for the sciences has grown steadily since I began my studies, and my biochemistry major allowed me to explore fundamental principles across multiple disciplines. This solid foundation enables me to provide clear, in-depth explanations that empower students to grasp even the most challenging topics.
I bring extensive tutoring experience, having worked with students in high school and college-level Chemistry, Biology, Genetics, Physics, and English. Additionally, my thorough understanding of MCAT subjects makes me particularly suited for focused, personalized tutoring. I’ve been tutoring peers since high school, adapting to the unique learning styles of each individual, and I’ve also gained valuable teaching experience as a teacher’s assistant. My approach is student-centered, directly addressing difficulties to build confidence and competence.
I believe that learning is fundamental to success both in and out of the classroom, and I am committed to supporting my students in achieving their goals. I’m flexible, responsive, and open to feedback from both students and parents to ensure their needs are met. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule our first lesson. I look forward to helping you succeed!" less...
