"I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Boston University. I have worked in preclinical neuroscience research at McLean Hospital and clinical research in neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

In college I was a TA with the introductory neuroscience course. Whether students were knowledgeable about the material or completely new to it, I loved working with them to understand the subject matter on their own terms. I learned that everyone has a different way of coming to understand complicated concepts, and understanding each student’s background is crucial to identify sticking points and gaps in their foundational understanding.

As a neuroscience major that followed a premedical curriculum, I know the importance of thoroughly understanding difficult material, both to maintain a competitive GPA and to build a foundation for the MCAT. But even if you are not a premedical student or even a science major, I hope I can show you how science is absolutely fascinating and worth understanding for everybody!
