"Howdy! My name is Hadi. I scored a 1560 on the SAT (780 Math + 780 R/W), and I'm now pursuing a degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University (College Station). I am relatively new to tutoring, but I'm confident that what I've learned can help students increase their score.
Having gone through the college admissions process recently myself, I know the impact a high SAT score can have on a student's chances of being accepted to their target schools, which motivates me to share the strategies and frequently tested concepts that can lead to gains of 50, 100, or even 200+ points in a short amount of time when learned. In my sessions, we will go over past SAT questions and discuss various ways that they can be solved - many questions have a "test smart" approach that can quickly eliminate two or even all three incorrect answers, helping students to save time.
As a CS major, I'm also available to help students prepare for the AP Computer Science exam, which I scored a 5 in. I can help students understand tricky concepts such as recursion or class inheritance, as well as basics like variables and conditionals by relating them to ideas that students are more familiar with.
