"Hi. I am Anne R., a twenty year certified elementary teacher who has experience in tutoring. I graduated from The College of Charleston with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education, and I graduated from Ashford University with a Master's in Education specializing in literacy. I currently teach third grade, but have taught almost all elementary grade levels. Until this year, I was teaching fifth grade. We're having a lot of fun in third grade. I love teaching all subjects, but my favorite is ELA. I have even had community college experience teaching remedial English, and tutoring in their tutoring center.

I love working one on one with students so that I can help that knowledge come out. It would be a pleasure to tutor anyone to whom I can help.
I am a qualified Reading, Writing, and Grammar teacher because of the education I have been blessed with since middle school. My teachers were old school teachers, and we were in a small town. In the seventh grade, we learned how to diagram sentences and went up from there. Homework for conjugating verbs took forever, but I learned what I needed to learn. My Master's degree specialization is in literacy. Finally, I have been teaching for twenty years. I have found what works best for children, and how to make it fun.

After I taught cursive writing, his handwriting was beautiful! I know it was not because of me, but it was because he given instruction on the correct way to write. When I teach spelling, We have strategies to help the students remember" less...
