"I am from the American midwest. I went to college and seminary to become a Christian minister and have served in churches in America and Japan. I also went to graduate school to study music history and organ performance. As a graduate student I was a graduate teaching assistant for several years and later became an instructor in music appreciation. After living and working in Japan I returned to school to study Japanese. On my own I am learning Mandarin Chinese. In total I have studied the following languages: Latin, Greek, Hebrew, German, French, Japanese and Mandarin.
As a minister of the church I have had a lot of experience teaching people from Middle School through adults. I have also developed expertise in public speaking and in the written word. Recently I obtained certification in teaching English as a second language with an emphasis on English grammar. I can assure any student committed to improving their abilities in English, study, or music history, that I am very capable of helping them achieve their goals.
I have a 120-Hour Master Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language with a special emphasis in English Grammar. With my background in language study and a life of teaching, speaking, and writing in English I can help any learner.
I have the practical experience of performance from childhood and still perform today. In graduate school I was the only graduate teaching assistant for the complete music history two-year course of about 110 students and my work in that area secured me an invitation by the dean of the college to pursue my doctoral work with the complete financial backing of the conservatory.
If you want to improve your grades, job opportunities, or chance to achieve your life's goal and need some help. Please contact me and let's talk about what I might do to help you succeed." less...
