"My love of education comes from a passion to be a lifelong learner. I have over 10 years experience teaching public education and have had the opportunity to work with students in grades K - 12. I have also worked within the public school system, as an Occupational Therapy Practitioner, with students with special needs, providing one-on-one and/or group therapy services for various functional needs: handwriting techniques, sensory processing, fine and gross motor strength, visual motor/perceptual skills, etc.

My goal is to provide a positive learning environment that will challenge each student but not be overwhelming. I assign homework after each session and provide assessments and report cards quarterly.

I have taught elementary ed. and specialize in helping students with critical thinking and organizational skills.

I am a certified Occupational Therapy practitioner as well as teacher, that has a passion for working with students that have special needs. My focus for the last two years has been working with children in grades Pk through 6th grade. I also teach horse back riding lessons with a therapeutic emphasis, using the horse as a therapeutic modality.
