"I am Zibran A. I am a "historian tutor" with a bachelor's in History from University of Rhode Island. Not only am I passionate about history, but I am also an excellent writer, due to experiences in writing and researching for my history degree. I am also currently pursuing a second bachelor's in Computer Science from CUNY York College, due to which I have a strong math background. Hence my educational background equips me with a diverse set of knowledge for tutoring various topics, from Math, Science, History, English, and Writing.

My tutoring and teaching experience spans various subjects, grade levels, and educational contexts. In my role as a history Teacher-in-Residence at Achievement First Providence Mayoral Academy, I supported many middle school classroom teachers and helped them teach a diverse group of students from grade 5 to 8. I developed lesson plans and adapted the history curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners. I integrated technology into the classroom to create a dynamic learning environment. Additionally, I served as a mentor to my students, providing support and motivation to help them succeed. As an online tutor with Tutor Me Education from November 2022 to July 2024, I provided instructions in math, social studies, and English to students from diverse backgrounds and grade levels. My approach includes designing engaging lessons using visual aids and videos to enhance learning and concentration. I also assist students with test preparation and conduct practice assessments, ensuring their continuous progress with asynchronous assignments.

I am passionate about education and dedicated to fostering a love for learning in my students.
