"Hello! My name is Sylvia! I graduated from Iowa State University with a math education degree and immediately began teaching high school mathematics. I taught at the high school level for 12 years loved every minute of it! For the last four years I have had the opportunity to teach at the college level and specifically teach future elementary math teachers the "why" mathematics is taught how it is taught.

Through the years I have tutored high school math in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, PreCalculus and Calculus. I have worked with elementary students to help them gain understanding of their math classes. I've worked with teams of students and one on one in an effort to help build a solid foundation.
