"Hi I'm Cameron. I graduated from Creighton University in 2012 with a PhD in microbiology and immunology. After that, I spent 3 years at the National Institutes of Health studying viral diseases. I've always had a passion for science and want to utilize that energy to help students gain meaningful understanding of the subject. I grew up in the rural Midwest and did not have opportunities to attend prestigious schools. My parents worked hard to provide us that opportunity and this has granted me motivation throughout my career. I believe education is vital to your quality of life and want to use my education to enrich others and help them succeed.

I have been studying biology for over 15 years. Beyond academic learning, I have been practically applying scientific knowledge in the laboratory for several years. I was able to mentor and tutor several students in graduate school and my postdoctoral fellowship.
