"I have experience tutoring for the past 6 years. I started tutoring when I was in college at Polytechnic Institute of NYU. After college, I tutored at a tutoring center called Mathnasium for 2 years where I had the opportunity to tutor students who had learning disabilities to students with non-learning disabilities from grades K-12. My major was in Mathematics and I minored in Computer Science. When I tutor or teach someone something new I am always patient. Based on my past experience and watching teachers and other tutors teach, I found out that being patient was crucial. If the tutor is frustrated, then the student will be frustrated as well. Therefore, I do not mind taking my time to explain a topic as many times it takes until the student understands it 100%.

I am very passionate in tutoring math. I enjoy helping others not only in math, but in life as well. Math requires discipline and dedication. I teach my students these qualities which they can then take it to any endeavor they wish to pursue in their life. I am committed to helping any student be successful in life.

I passed 3 professional examinations from the Society of Actuaries: Probability (Exam P), Financial Mathematics (Exam FM) and Models for Financial Economics (Exam MFE). These exams are known to be harder than the college level exams. I am proficient in all areas of math from grades K-12 and the college level.
