"Hi there! Welcome! I'm so glad you found my page! I'm an educator with five years college teaching experience (and more years with middle school students as well as high school students!). I'm here to help you develop your college essays, organize your study practices, or aide you if you seek to deepen your studies! I have an interdisciplinary doctorate (PhD) in the study of Justice, a Masters in Anthropology, a Bachelors in Social Sciences and a true love of teaching and learning. I enjoy working one-on-one with students at all different levels, and helping them develop their innate capacities. I believe our education system can alienate students who learn differently, and there is an undue pressure of performance that can take all the joy and curiosity out of learning. I can help you jump the academic hurdle that you're facing, while coaching you to bring agency and excitement back into your education.

My Masters in Socio-Cultural Anthropology gave me a firm foundation in intercultural fluency, anthropological theory, research methods, and in conducting in-depth, long-term field research. I conducted research in India, with Tibetan refugees for many years. I'd be glad to talk more with you about this.

I love teaching people how to write persuasively and compellingly, and to better articulate their arguments. I have mentored college students in both academic and creative writing, working with ESOL learners who struggle with English writing, and with students working on college and graduate school applications.
