"Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn, and I am a current special educator in a self contained high school classroom of students with autism. I am certified to teach Elementary (K-8) in all subjects, as well as Special Education (K-12 and beyond), with a special endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

I received my degree from Eastern Michigan University in December of 2021 and have been teaching ever since! I grew up babysitting as well as working directly with students to help them work on social and work skills.

I have a specialty in understanding students who are neurodivergent and need different approaches to get work done. Therefore, I find I am applicable to teaching most anything. I specifically enjoy working with college students who are currently in an education program, teachers who need additional assistance with lesson planning or IEP assistance, as well as a vested interest in helping students with research papers and finding research articles (I specialize in APA and MLA format, with APA being my most comfortable).
