"My name is Shawnee K. I am a recent graduate of Frostburg State University. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Education. My major while attending was Elementary/Middle School Dual Certification. I also attained my Associate's degree in Elementary Education and the Associate's of Art in Teaching at Allegany College of Maryland.

I interned at a variety of schools with different age levels. At West Side Elementary, I worked with 2nd grade. At John Humbird Elementary, I worked with 3rd grade and at Mount Savage School, I worked with 6th grade. When I attended Allegany College of Maryland, I got to help 6th and 2nd graders in the after school program with their homework.

I have interned in a variety of schools. The last one was in a Social Studies class. I also passed the Middle School Social Studies PRAXIS test with a score of 156.
