"Hello students and parents,
I would like to be your tutor as I enjoy helping people succeed. I am a very patient person and feel I am a good fit working with children who have special needs. When I work with you I will take lots of time to really get to know you so I know how best to help. I take everyone involved in your life into consideration and feel working together with your family as a team is the best way to benefit everyone. I want to offer my services and work with you on anything you may need. I have many areas that I am willing to help out with. It can be school work, study skills, daily living skills, social skills, behavioral help, and transitioning skills for the future. I want you to feel comfortable contacting me with any help you may need.
As far as my education and experience goes, I have an associate's degree in special education transitional assistant and bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehab with concentration in special Ed transition. I did all of my student teaching in the special education rooms. I have not held a teaching position, as I became a registered behavioral technician and work with children in clinic and at home doing applied behavioral analysis. I am currently in grad school to become board certified. I have 14 years' experience with autism/Aspergers and ADHD, have taken many classes, and went to many conferences to stay up to date.
I look forward to hearing from you or you parents and can't wait to start helping you succeed. Have a wonderful day!
