I have edited for foreign-born faculty at a major university who publish in peer-reviewed journals in their respective fields. I have also edited/ rewritten dissertations in diverse subjects including hydrology, archaeology, biosciences and visual arts. Editing is my forte.

I have a background in linguistics and can explain grammatical concepts, vocabulary with prefixes, roots, and suffixes, and syntax that will aid all areas of Language Arts and ultimately all academic pursuits.

I have used my strong background in English grammar, syntax and semantics to study Russian with relative ease as my linguistic training allowed for cross-linguistic comparisons that enabled me to use the similarities and understand the differences in languages from different branches of the Indo-European family.

I have studied and mastered Spanish and Russian by building on my strong knowledge of English structure and cross-linguistic comparisons from coursework in historical comparative linguistics and the history of English, skills which enable me to explain the intricacies of language in a way that few others can.
