"Hi! My name is Ross, and I understand what it’s like to struggle with accounting. I know that it’s not an easy topic, it’s not intuitive, your teachers probably fly through the material; and honestly, learning the basics of accounting isn’t exactly the most interesting subject in the world. Let me help you get through your accounting class so that you can stress less and get better grades. I’ve been tutoring college students and friends on and off for the last 8 years or so, and am great at meeting you where you are in terms of your level of knowledge so that you get the most out of our tutoring sessions.

To share a little bit about myself -

- I have a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (3.7 GPA), an MBA (3.9 GPA)

- I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), having passed all 4 sections of the CPA exam on first attempt, averaging a 90% score

- I spent about 5 years working for a Big 4 CPA firm as an auditor, arguably the best way to learn the profession

- I’ve spent another 5 years in the corporate world as a CPA, currently as a Technical Accounting Manager. That means that I spend my days applying accounting and literally teaching other professionals how to do the same. Needless to say, I am up to date on all of the latest accounting standards and how they work in the real world.

Beyond all of this, I am a real, relatable person. I haven’t been out of school for so long that I’ve forgotten what it’s like to be a student, and I truly enjoy helping people to learn new things and grow.
