"My name is Jacob C., and I am an experienced accounting professional currently working at a public accounting firm. I hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University-Idaho, where I was honored with the "Outstanding Accounting Graduate" award for graduating at the top of my class. I also earned a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Idaho and took all four sections of the CPA exam during my graduate studies.

My passion for teaching began during my time as a graduate assistant at the University of Idaho. In this role, I provided one-on-one and group tutoring to undergraduate students across all required accounting courses. I also stepped in to teach classes when professors were unavailable, delivering lectures and guiding students through challenging topics. Additionally, I assisted fellow graduate students in preparing for the CPA exams, tailoring study strategies to help them succeed.

I believe the goal of tutoring is to empower students to become independent learners. My approach emphasizes building a strong understanding of the subject while equipping students with tools to tackle challenges on their own. By focusing on the “big picture” and breaking concepts into manageable steps, I help students develop confidence and skills that extend beyond assignments and tests.
