"I have been teaching and tutoring students for over 15 years. I have held a tutor position for seven years and have taught composition classes online to Associate level students for eight years. I really enjoy teaching and being instrumental in helping students accomplish their academic goals. Helping others reach their academic goals is my passion. It can be very frustrating to experience feelings of inadequacy and that only requires a little assistance in focusing on your inner strengths with patience and understanding. I am patient, attentive to student inquiries and educational aspirations. Working with students to help them realize their potential is my goal.

I have worked with students that have had learning disabilities that just needed compassion and nurturing their strong talents. I have a learning disabled sibling that is dear to my heart and I strive to be as supportive to students who may struggle as well. I have developed some techniques that I feel would be beneficial in bringing about successful results to students who may need a little more motivation and encouragement to complete their assignments.
