I’m a total math fanatic, with a Fellowship designation (FCAS) in actuarial science, which means I use math and statistics to analyze risk and help businesses make smart financial decisions. Think of actuaries as the people who predict the future—just with numbers instead of a crystal ball! To be accredited, I had to go through rigorous testing, putting in 4500+ hours of study to complete my designation. In addition to my studies, I have more than 7 years of experience in the actuarial/insurance industry, solving some of the toughest problems our company has to offer.

During my college years (University of Wisconsin Eau Claire), I worked almost exclusively as a math tutor, TA, and grader.
