"I believe in strategic academic advancement and mentorship that goes beyond traditional tutoring; supporting students in exploring their passions, discovering new interests, becoming logical problem solvers, and translating paper concepts to real world exciting projects. Students can come with diverse interests and we'll work together to develop a personalized curriculum to set and hit ambitious goals no matter the age. For students who want specific academic support for school assignments, we'll do lessons in a creative way that connects problems to the real world and builds the core skills to be a stronger problem solver. I believe in catering to the student's learning style and accommodating their ideas. Previous personalized curriculums for my students have included: for a student who loves penguins and is interested in engineering, designing and building a walking penguin robot from scratch; for a student who loves innovating, designing a toy he wished he had, manufacturing and distributing it, and creating his own local business; for a student who wanted to be a jack of all trades, conducting different scientific experiments, mini engineering projects, creative poems and history lessons, for each lesson. I've been teaching and mentoring for years, in classrooms, one-on-ones, and group sessions, working with students as young as 6 years old to adults mid-career looking to expand their skills.
For a bit about me, I graduated from Harvard University with degrees in mechanical engineering and psychology. I've had a diverse career as a mechanical design engineer at Tesla, a management consultant at Bain, a research scientist for gene therapy at the Broad Institute, an investor, and as the CEO of my company. Through all this, I've always come back to student mentorship; it's fun, fulfilling, and humbling to witness the growth and intelligence of our students, and I hope to continue that indefinitely. I'm eager to meet you, and if you have any questions, my line is always open!" less...
