"I'm a recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor's degree in History. While in college I helped tutor my fraternity brothers as well as other friends of mine, TA'd a history class, and took as many history classes as I could handle. I have always wanted to teach history because I had teachers who made it fun, and a family that loves history. I am well versed in Classical history, European history, American history, World history, and much more. In my free time I like to learn about areas of history that I never got to learn about in college and high school.

I play hockey, read a lot of books, and enjoy hiking and the outdoors. I am completely flexible to any students needs, have reliable transportation, full availability, and energy to work in the field I studied for. My tutoring method has worked with friends, and is pretty simple. Make it interesting. I think a lot of history turns into "this happened, then this happened, then this happened." Nobody is grabbed by that. By relating history to just about anything a student likes, a connection is formed and interest grows.
