"I have a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. As a recent college graduate, my knowledge is up-to-date in the constantly advancing field of biology. I also have many biology credits in sports and exercise science as I originally planned on going to medical school. As interests switched to wildlife biology, I focused my credits on these subjects and I am still very interested in pursuing a career in this field and love passing on this information. Also, mathematics comes naturally to me and I have taken courses up to calculus and statistics. I recently helped tutor college students in basic mathematics. I have very good teaching skills and I am able to pass on information in a way that creates an understanding for the student. I never pressure students or make them feel bad for not understanding information, but take time to get them on a knowledgeable level in order to succeed. Creative learning through ideas and personal examples help students to associate material with prior learning experiences and feel comfortable going into exams.
