"I am a high school teacher who has 10+ years of teaching and tutoring experience. I approach teaching mathematics from my student’s point of view. I spend a lot of time working examples and actual test questions with students until they develop confidence and skill to attempt and solve problems on their own. Mathematics like any other discipline requires time and effort and with expert guidance excellent grades can be achieved.

I have a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s in Education and am pursuing a PhD in Education. I'm currently an Algebra 2 high school teacher who has taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Probability, Statistics and Trigonometry in past years. I have extensive experience working with students who find mathematics difficult or challenging. I firmly believe that anyone can learn Mathematics with the right approach, patience and guidance. What is needed is a solid foundation to build on so I usually ensure that the basics are covered and then students can advance at their own pace.

I connect with my students and gain an understanding of what are their difficulties and challenges and will teach using a variety of everyday examples to which they can relate.
