"I am an aspiring teacher at Virginia state university study to get my degree in elementary education. I have previously earned my associates in early childhood education while in high school due to being dual enrolled in Thomas Nelson community college. With that being said, I have experience teaching students, in class and one on one setting. I was a teacher at CDR(child development resources) teaching children with learning disabilities, special needs, and developmental delays. I also am currently employed at a daycare working with kids. I love tutoring because it gives me an opportunity to get to know the student I’m working with as an individual and use their personality to refine the skill that needs to be worked on. I like being able to help students one on one because they have all individual attention on helping them perfect their skill. I believe that all children are different so that means they all learn differently and sometimes it’s easier to help that child advance when they have that person giving them undivided attention in the areas they need it the most.

I have worked with my fellow college classmates rewrite and revise their papers in the student tutor writing center. I have always been an A student in all things English and it is a passion of mine. It is also a minor that i study in college due to my degree stretching from kindergarten through 6th grade meaning for 6th grade teaching I chose English as my focus.

I have worked with children for a few years now and I have had experience with giving them speech lesson especially in children with underdeveloped speech.

In all I am an engaged and fun loving teacher that has a passion for wanting students to be at their peek performance in anything they might feel inadequate.
