"Hello, I'm Shreedyuti! I'm a current undergraduate at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a 7-year program where I can complete my Bachelors in Science and my Medical Degree. I aspire to work in Pediatrics one day, and as such, I have always enjoyed working with youth. I have several years of experience working with students in educational settings, and am also currently a volunteer at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, where I work with children to foster educational growth.
As a current student, I understand how daunting some topics can be without guidance, and how scary it can be to ask for help, especially when it comes to something as important as the ACT/SAT. Bringing this knowledge to my tutoring approach, I try to make tutoring as fun and engaging as possible, while making sure to explicitly teach the material in the way that I best believe the student is able to grasp it. I make sure to give plenty of time for practice, both with me and independently, and the material/lesson is always tailored to the student's needs. I took the SAT and ACT both in Summer 2023; I got a 35 on the ACT and a 1500 on the SAT.
I want to help students feel confident in their understanding of the material they are currently learning whiel also giving them the foundation to get ahead.
