More than anything, I am dedicated to building relationships and achieving growth with each of my learners. I am currently working full-time as a K-8 educator and hold a BA in English and a Masters in Teaching from the University of Virginia, as well as a minor in Korean and a TESOL Certificate, which enhances my ability to connect with diverse and multilingual learners.

With nearly a decade of tutoring experience and two years of classroom teaching in both Virginia and New Jersey, I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of students aged 6 to 42, including those with moderate to severe learning and cognitive disabilities. I have also worked as both a consultant and supervisor for the University of Virginia Writing Center, collaborating with undergraduate, graduate, and faculty on all manner of writing projects from term papers, research reports, and PhD thesis papers. I am passionate about helping each client not only feel their progress but also see their achievements in real-time.

I offer targeted and individualized assistance in English Language Arts, English as a Second Language (ESL), reading, writing, and test preparation for the SAT/ACT, various state literacy exams such as at the VSOL and NJSLA, as well as AP testing for English Language and Literature.
