A bit about me: I’m an experienced educator. I have facilitated community-based programs for adults and high school students in the Bronx and Harlem, New York. I’m not just an educator - I’m a mentor who is genuinely invested in helping to improve your technique and to trust your creative sensibilities. Fun fact - I speak French fluently as well.

I have worked with a range of DAWS and hardware, such as Akai MPC 500, NI Maschine Mk2 and 3, Kontakt/ Komplete Kontrol. For a while I was a DJ as well. While I don’t specialize in one genre, I’m comfortable working across many styles. I’ve produced everything from live jazz instrumental albums to rap projects and several beat tapes. I can help you do the same. I’ll show you how to edit samples, develop compositions, patterns and sequence arrangements; midi intergration; and how to incorporate live effects and automation techniques, and optimize your workflow overall.

I offer 1-hour virtual lessons and I have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
