My career has spanned both teaching and working for industry as a software developer in a number of areas based on a Bachelors in Math and a Masters in Engineering from UCLA. As a result, I bring knowledge beyond the theory typically taught in the classroom to include practical applications in the real world. As such, I hold a "Instructors Credential" issued from the State of California to teach math and computer programming courses at the college level and have taught for DeVry University and University of Phoenix. I am also a Microsoft Certified Professional with certificates in Visual Studio .NET web and windows development as well as competent in database design, transactional SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Classic ASP and ASP.NET using Visual Basic and C#.

I am flexible in facilitating the learning process with one-on-one tutoring offline that can be supplemented with online lessons. My approach is to tailor the subject matter to align with the goals of the student so that both teacher and student are mutually benefited by the tutoring experience. My tact is to eliminate math/computer anxiety by incrementally building on a student's previous knowledge to master new material.
